The above images showcase some of the directions the initial concept went through before arriving at the final form. From the final render, we discussed the design in terms of production with our manufacturer as they suggested some slight changes would improve their production and thus the overall finish quality and cost of the range. This was really key for this range as it was intended to achieve a good balance between quality finish and a competitive end price for the customer.
Pictured above: initial samples from our manufacturer in Vietnam. As we were unable to travel due to COVID, they provided some great, high quality photography for us to review. These included a conversational set that followed the same design as the dining chairs with some sizing adjustments.
At this point, our client's directors elected to remove the woven aspect of the design and proceed with just wooden slats.
