Aluminium Modular Stacking Sofa

A long term project that has been in the works for a few years - the aluminium stacking set is designed to fit fully constructed all in one box. In response to extreme shipping prices, each of our clients were (and still are) extremely interested in reducing costs of transport. This concept is designed to maximise use of space in a shipping container without requiring assembly by the end customer.

Our manufacturer's first sample of the design. We agreed changes to the corner shaping with the technical team to improve production efficiency.

As we were unable to travel out to China, they helpfully pulled together photos of the set packing away and unpacking. The frame is aluminium, making each of the sofa sections very light and easy to maneuver.
